Description
Overlooking Rose Valley Lake in West Kelowna, this area is located on city managed crown land. Many of these basalt cliffs are visible from the Kelowna side of Okanagan Lake. Although there are only a few bolted routes, there is a lot of potential development here for both sport climbing and bouldering.
Getting There
From north or south, turn off highway 97 onto Westlake road at the Kal Tire. Follow this then turn left onto Rosewood drive. On the corner of Rosewood drive and Rosealee lane, there is a dirt parking lot. Park here and walk the rest of the way down Rosewood drive where you will find an access road leading to the dam. Paths to Rock Candy and the MacDougall Rim wall branch off from this road.
