Description

Short, but grippy boulders along the east cost of the island. Unlike most of Bonaire, there are no cacti near, on, or under these boulders! However, you should keep an eye out for rats hiding under the boulders; I don't know if they will bite you, but the can definitely be a surprise while climbing.

Getting There

While driving, follow signs/Google Maps to the golf course or Sterke Yerke Monument. Once you are out on the flat, sandy shelf, you should see a field of boulders. You can park anywhere and walk up to them. A decent crossover or bigger vehicle is preferable for navigating the roads to the beach.
