Description

Powerline Wall Central extends from where the Powerline Wall splits into 2 tiers on the west (climbers left) and to a dirty gully on the east (climbers right). The lower tier is reached by staying on the trail below the Powerline Wall that extends over from Powerline Wall West across to Powerline Wall East. The upper tier is reached by scrambling up the 3rd class blocky steps just to the right of Intimidator on Powerline Wall West (lowest point on Powerline Wall West), or by climbing any of the lower tier routes. Note that the upper tier gets narrower and more exposed the farther you go to climber's right. It may be advisable to leave backpacks and extra gear on the trail below the lower tier.

Getting There

Approach as for Powerline Wall area, 3rd class ramp approach. Continue to the east below Powerline Wall West. If you reach the overhead powerlines coming from the west, you have gone past Powerline Wall Central.
