These climbing areas are located at the far north end of the Sandia Mountains near the town of Placitas.

Getting There Suggest change

The climbing is all accessed off Highway 165 which connects I-25 to the Sandia Crest Road. Highway 165 turns to dirt above the town of Placitas and all climbing is located off dirt roads. The dirt roads are not generally well maintained and are best driven with a higher clearance vehicle.
