Description
The Secret Crag is a small area near the top of the mountain. Routes here are shorter but condensed well into one area. The are mostly trad climbs with a couple mixed lines and sport routes. Routes range from 5.5 - 5.10 with many moderate to easy climbs. All climbs have top anchors to encourage all levels of climbers to visit. Rock quality is fantastic with a lot of fresh orange texture to enjoy. The crag has great shade and is an easy escape from the sun any day of the year. The secret is out, we hope you all enjoy this addition. -The Donkeys
Getting There
Head up the south climber's loop to middle earth area. Go to the top of middle earth and pass though the popular hallway "The Corridor." Head up the steep terrain and following the faint trails to the left of the low angle slab. Once on the top of the plateau anchors for the routes will be on your left. Walk another 100 feet and then hang left downhill to gain bottom access.
Alternatively, this crag is located directly above Lord of the Rings. From the base of that climb, one can walk around the left side of that formation and end up at the base of this crag.
