Ootheca Boulder

Description

The Ootheca Boulder is a large, sandstone, conglomerate boulder with very unique stone for the area, mostly flat landings, and a whole swath of decent lines.

Downclimb from the peak on the east face through a very short, very juggy chimney.

Getting There

From the pullout nearest the Fupa Boulder (west of campsite 14), head north/northeast following the edge of the treeline while walking in the open field. The boulder will appear on your right. GPS coordinates are: 38.53498, -105.20703 approximately.
