Description

Includes the climbing areas off of Skyline Blvd that are north of Saratoga Gap/Big Basin Way Such as Long Ridge, Skyline Ridge and Russian Ridge.

Aquarian Valley is a really cool rope climbing and bouldering area with great views and fun approaches. The approaches are a bit longer and you might need to wander around a bit to find the climbs if it’s your first time out, but there is a decent chance you’ll have the area to your self.

Funny Face Rock is right off Skyline Blvd and a has a couple decent problems on it. It has a very short approach so it might be worth a quick stop to check out.

Shangri-La Rock has a longer approach and a handful of routes. Not likely that you will see anyone out there.

This area also covers Alpine Rock which has questionable access.

Getting There

Parking varies. See the sub-areas for specific directions, but generally will be directly off Skyline Blvd north of Saratoga Gap.
