Centered around the small city of Cranbrook, the East Kootenays cover a large area from Canal Flats in the north down to Creston and Grasmere in the southwest and southeast respectively.

Getting There Suggest change

Highway 3 from the West Kootenays and east through Fernie and the Crows Nest Pass. Highway 93 north from Grasmere and south from Radium Hot Springs. Highway 95 north from Yahk and south from Golden. Cranbrook has an International Airport.
