Access Issue: Private Property and Illinois Registered Land and Water Reserve Details

Most of the climbing at Fountain Bluff occurs on private property.
This climbing area is encumbered by a conservation easement, known as an Illinois registered Land and Water Reserve (LWR) as of 2024. Allowable uses are regulated and the natural resources on site are protected by law. Please refer to LWR section for more details.

Description

A few sport routes on great gray stone out in the middle of nowhere. Named the Honeymoon Suite, the ledge on top of this walls is plush and boasts one of the best views at the bluff. Be sure to catch a Spring or Fall sunset from the top of these routes. Seriously a 5 Star Topout.
