Description
A sunny cliff at the far bottom of Wonderland South, whose namesake line is one of the most unique in the Front Range, Man-Eater Wall has a handful of climbs in a variety of styles. Its proximity to Boogie Water Wall, Seitan Slab, and Seasoned Slab, make it a great spot to hit. "The Lone Prairie" sees sun almost immediately in the day, being south-facing, but the rest of the wall typically starting going into the sun around noon. Plan accordingly.
Getting There
Park at the South Buck Gulch Trailhead. Hike north along the Buck Gulch Trail for 1 km, where the trail turns onto a brief slab of rock (GPS coordinates are: 39.39108, -105.36730).
At the bottom of this slab of rock, instead of continuing along the trail to the right, look to your left for a cairn. Head left towards this cairn, following a cairned and log-highway'ed trail system until you hit another large slab (GPS coordinates are: 39.39172, -105.37316).
Follow cairns to the right down this slab to where it turns back into decomposed granite, continuing to follow a cairned trail. After roughly 250 yards, you'll reach a point where the trail splits. Take the left split, and follow it to its conclusion.
