Craig's Crack

California > San Diego County > S San Diego County > Mission Gorge > Limbo Area

Description

Bring gear for the lead or to top-rope.

Getting There

Art Messier's guide says "There is no easy way to get [here], but Craig’s crack at the top is worth the effort". Thankfully, there is now a faint but usable trail leading from Deviate Wall to Craig's Crack. Just keep going up the trail and keep your eye on the formations on your righthand side. Craig's is the last one on the top.

There's a second trail that can be accessed at Deviate by scrambling above the main wall and the 2 bolt formation and taking a sharp left near the top of the talus.
