Description Suggest change

Among the taller rock faces in the Tucsons, and the namesake for the Cat Mountain Rhyolite found throughout the range. A very sunny, low-elevation mountain with highly variable rock quality. There's also rumored to be treasure stashed somewhere on this desert peak. At the time of writing there is only one known route, although some undocumented historical ascents have been made.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at Sarasota trailhead and hike directly to the cliff. 30min-1hr depending on which part of the base you intend to access.
