Description Suggest change

This small crag is on the ridgeline southeast of the main Lion’s Den climbing at The Preface. There are two sport routes on the awesome, steeply overhung northwest face. They were developed some years ago. The base of the wall is a steep slope, with difficult belay stances and not suitable for crowds.

There are also two sets of cold-shut anchors around the corner at the top of the clean, short, moderately overhung northeast face. The anchors are not accessible from the top, so presumably they are for top-roping using a long stick-clip. The right is about 4 m/15 ft tall and the right is about 6 m/20 ft. The base up here is wide and flat.

Getting There

Suggest change

From The Preface, head climbers right along base of crag for about 50 feet to bottom of short, steep gully. You can see the South Buttress is at the top of the chute on the right.
