Description
The Mill Creek Boulder is a massive sandstone conglomerate boulder all by itself and surrounded by brush that features a dozen or so problems from V1 to V4, as well as many more easier problems.
The harder problems are found on the west and south faces.
- This boulder has also been referred to as the Mentone Meteorite and Roadside Rock.
Getting There
Drive 0.25 miles past the eastern portion of Old Mill Creek Road and park in a large dirt turnout.
Hike south along a dirt road to a tee intersection and head left following another, more travelled dirt road; heading right leads to a freestanding rock chimney.
Leave the dirt road at a distinct white rock and follow a faint trail through the brush to the boulder.
- The approach takes about 5 minutes from the parking area.
