Description

A crack climbers paradise on columnar basalt with outstanding views of Cerro Tronador. There are around 100 cracks to climb here. There is a pdf of the routes floating around, ask locals for a copy. There also might be little pieces of wood with names and ratings placed at the base of some routes. Otherwise just show up and get on whatever looks fun. The left side has easier routes from 5.6-5.10. The Central taller columns have longer and overall harder routes from 5.10-5.12.

Camping is located in Pampa Linda.

Getting There

Drive south of Bariloche two hours towards Pampa Linda at the base of Cerro Tronador. There is a limited time for entry and exit on the one way road. It's also located in a National Park that charges entry fees. Park in the designated area only. Hike the trail to the crag.
