Description Suggest change

Boltering is a small crag that has a only a handful routes, but it also has a few things going for it. First, it's only a 2 minute approach, perfect for weekday evening sessions. Second, this crag has some degree of shade throughout the day. The western aspect provides shade in the morning and in the afternoon/evening shade is provided by a few trees. As a bonus there is even a creek to help cool things off.

Getting There Suggest change

Boltering is 2 minutes from The Fist trailhead. As you walk under The Fist overhang there is a right fork in the trail, follow it. Several steps after the fork if you look slightly left (10 o'clock to the trail) through the trees you'll see the small Boltering dome. There is a network of trails here so it's hard to give turn by turn directions, but generally you want to follow the trail gently uphill and toward the dome until there is another right fork that takes you down to the creek crossing.
