Description Suggest change

This area has approximately a dozen boulders partially in talus and forest at approximately 11,375 feet in elevation.

Getting There Suggest change

The approach is approximately 0.5 miles, but due to the elevation gain, it takes about 45 minutes. You park at a paved pulloff just past the main area parking (coordinates: 39°37'48"N 105°42'43"W). From the parking area, you go south through some open area until you get close to a small creek. Then you go more uphill follow the ridge through open forest. Then you will come to an aspen grove where there is a diagonal opening that you can walk along that's not too overgrown. Then you diagonal along towards the bottom center of the talusfield where the boulders are.
