Description

Winter wonderland of sugar and spice. Summer playground of nothing (Nothing) nice. Unlimited amount of cracks and routes with some of the crumbliest "rock" maybe in Arizona. Soon to be a destination rivaling the caliber of Red Rocks, Yosemite and the White Cliffs of Dover. This is climbing at its best. Wear safety goggles and a helmet. Choose your lines carefully and inspect the features around it to limit potential cleaving of large sections of rock.

Getting There

About 20 miles west of Nothing. Shiprock can be seen from the road at a few key sections when driving Highway 93 westbound. If you park at pullout and walk to formation it takes about 53 minutes.
