Description

This sector gets shade in the morning and sun in the afternoon. It can be brutal in the afternoon on a hot day, so plan accordingly. It has plenty of quality routes and is the most popular sector at El Rio because of the easy access.

Getting There

From the parking along the road, follow the main trail into the gorge and continue to the right at the dam. This sector can be seen to to your right above the trail. There are a couple of smaller access trails to get to the base of the routes from the main trail.
