Los Lagos contains the northern reaches of Chilean Patagonia and a much more temperate climate than its southern counterparts. Famous primarily for the stark volcanoes and the endless granite seas of Valle Cochamo, the region has ample world-class climbing and is probably the easiest part of Chilean Patagonia to navigate, with most climbing within driving distance of real cities like Osorno, Puerto Montt and even Bariloche on the Argentine side.
