Description
Santiago and the entire metropolitan region offers easy friction slabs, Bouldering, demanding sports, trad, mixed and alpine routes. You can plan your entire chile trip based just in this huge area: Down town boulders (historical) , Lo Curro, San carlos de apoquindo, Los Trapenses, Jurassic Park, Chacabuco, Cajon del maipo, El cabrerio, Arrayan (Quebrada de los loros) and Farellones are the main areas with a ton of sub divisions.
Getting There
Arrive at SCL Arturo M Benitez airport and it's a 40-minute shuttle to the city. Arriving by bus is a 20-minute subway ride to the major hotels or AirBnB areas. From town use public transportation (Except Farellones area), Uber (better to use Cabify) or rent a car—30 minutes to an hour and a half to most crags.
