Gretel's Rock Rock Climbing

Located downstream from the Beaver Brook Reservoir, the approach requires a 30-60 minute walk depending on the chosen trailhead. Cairns can be found from the established trail above or from the river trail below. From the Pat Creek access, park at the designated area on Beaver Brook Canyon Road, and walk up Pat Creek through the gate. Pass the meadow on your right, and walk uphill to a large meadow where you will turn left. About a mile down, you'll see an old sign on your right where you will find cairns down to the crag. From the Beaver Brook Watershed East Parking area, hike down to the reservoir, and follow the trail towards Lewis Gulch. Follow this up into the mountain until you hit the large, open meadow described above. Take a right, and follow the trail until you find the old signage (and turn right following cairns to the rock). Note: there are many ways to access this crag, and the GPS is accurate.
