Located north of the Kootenays, west of the Okanagan and east of the Rockies. The head waters of the mighty Columbia river carve their way through this land of real mountains. Rock, snow, and ice of world class renown. There are so many alpine opportunities you could spend a lifetime and never get bored. This place is home to legendary routes like the Beckey-Chouinard and other mountaineering classics like the Kain Route or Mount Sir Donald.

Getting There Suggest change

The Trans Canada Highway runs west from Revelstoke to Vancouver and beyond while east of Golden it cuts across the Rockies to Banff and Calgary. Highway 95 runs north from Radium Hot Springs.
