Description Suggest change

A smattering of small boulders that are super close to Winnemucca and are very easy to access. With memorable classic climbs such as The Jigglers Traverse, The Inverted Jiggle, Hold My White Claw, Shoeshine Traverse, and more... this is a climbing destination spot like no other! Or at least a fun spot for locals after a workday. The sunsets here can be pretty epic!

Don't forget the sit starts and watch out for broken glass.

Getting There Suggest change

Head SE out of Winnemucca on Water Canyon Road. The following distances are from Highland Park in Winnemucca:

  • At 1.1 miles the paved road turns to gravel.
  • At 2.7 miles turn right onto a dirt road with a creek crossing.
  • At 3.3 miles take a right (NW) onto a dirt 2-track road going up a small hill. The parking is 600 hundred feet up this road.

The boulders are all within a minute hike from the parking.

*The road is a little rough getting out there, but a Subaru or better has no trouble at all. A lifted Prius has even been known to frequent this crag.
