Description
Wild Pine is a small crag near deer leap mountain, with both traditional and sport climbing with some potential for bouldering development, route difficulties range from moderate to 5.13b. There are several established routes, I am only including lines I have climbed on myself. There are several closed projects on the cliff, details on those are on Adirondack Rock's new routes page, check them out before hopping on a random line of bolts here.
Moreover, there is a grouping of boulders that are easily accessible with a pretty solid range. For complete documentation on this bouldering area, buy the Adirondack Park Bouldering by Justin Sanford. What is documented is only what has been climbed & contributed by the community. These boulders are pretty solid, stay pretty dry in the fall and definitely deserve more traffic than they receive. Check them out if you're in the area!
