Description
The easiest wall of the entire Periodic Table to access. This marks the start of Periodic Table right at the rivers edge. During the late spring the starts of a few of these routes could be a under a bit of water, the arete route Hydropump can be traversed into, although there is a nice belay stance built out with stones there. Mid-late summer is less wet access. The mussy anchors have been here for long enough we figured it was time to add lead bolts. This will host 5-10 routes. All bolts are stainless 3/8ths unless otherwise stated.
Getting There
Drive to the end of Swift Creek Canyon and park as for Periodic Springs hike. Follow the well graded trail for 3/4 mile to the bridge. Take a left and follow a trail for a few hundred ft to the base of the wall.
Access the top: Continue past the bridge on the main trail for 15 yards until you reach a picnic table and Periodic Table information sign. Look for a faint trail that starts just before the picnic table and climbs up the edge of the tan talus field before contouring east towards the rock fin. This trail will continue sidehilling through trees and bushes until you reach a break in the top of the fin where you can reach the top of H2O Wall.
