The West Face of the Kangaroo is Ridiculous!

Visible from the parking lot, it's truly phenomenal that it took so many years before this World Class cliff got the attention it deserved- much appreciation to Alan and John Collins, the visionary developers.  Not only are the routes of the utmost quality, almost the entire wall sports steel cable draws. Expect 4-star routes from 5.12- to 5.14- 

Basically Morning Glory 2.0 with no crowds, morning shade, a consistent cool breeze and panoramic mountain views.

Getting There Suggest change

Head up to Burma Road, immediately after crossing the Canal, take the obvious hiker/climber trail that branches off Burma and follows the canal. The West Face off the Roo faces the Canal, you'll know it when you see it.
