Description
An interesting rock formation which makes you feel secluded from the city, since the routes face out into the ocean. Beware of poison oak.
Getting There
Park at the Whaler's Island Groin lot and follow a trail around the east side of the formation to the scramble along the base or continue to the top. If you find this trail is too overgrown with poison oak like we did, you can scramble up to the top by going around the fence on the west side and doing a couple (3rd?) moves up the rock pile.
