Left End Proper

New Hampshire > Merrimack Valley > Dumplingtown Hi… > 2. Dumplingtown… > 01. The Left End

Description

The Left End Proper is a 130' long slab escarpment that runs parallel to the trail. A huge bloc forms a corridor with the rightmost third of the slab.

Getting There

As you're walking in from the parking lot, watch for a slab cliff band and a huge detached bloc. Follow the hiking trail that leads up the steep hill. You've arrived! Note: If you follow the same trail a few hundred feet past the Left End Proper, you'll end up at Hoagland.
