Description Suggest change

Morning shade on the left side. Lots of shade in the big cave and right side. Also lots of goat poop. Bring an extra tarp.

Stays dry in the rain and doesn't seep after the rain.

There's 40ish routes here mostly in the 5.12 to 5.14 range. There's a handful that are easier. The steep hard stuff in the cave had fixed draws.

Getting There Suggest change

Option 1: From Kalandraka, hike towards the canyon on a dirt trail for 30ft and turn left onto a faint dirt trail for 20 ft. Then turn right at a cairn and take the steep, scrambly trail down for 5 minutes. There's a short fixed line on a tree. Once you arrive at a fork, go left until you pass a crag called Palomera. There will be a red gate and ladder. Continue down, staying close to Palomera and traverse along the base, around the corner, up a little, then down a fixed line, and you've arrived at the crag! 15 minutes.

Option 2: From the bottom of the canyon, follow the main trail down canyon (following the flow of water) until you have to cross the river. Continue for 1 minute then cross again. Follow the rocky path up and left towards a crag called Palomera. There's a red gate with a ladder on the left side of this crag.

You'll be going around the corner in front of you on the right side of Palomera. Traverse along the base of Palomera going down and then back up a little. Round the corner, scramble down some fixed lines, and you're at the crag! You'll see a orange/grey wall across in front of you which is the right side of the crag. 30ish minutes.
