Description Suggest change

Prickly Pear crag is a quiet crag on the left side of 211 with short routes at the mouth of the canyon. It receives morning sun and afternoon shade making it a reasonable afternoon crag in the late spring or early fall. I expected a LOT of prickly pear cactus, but despite the name and route names it wasn't bad and all the belays seem pretty clear of rope catchers.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the pull out below Blue Gramma, and bushwhack through the brush to Indian Creek. Cross the creek and head up into the field. Hike straight across towards the talus with the large boulders on it. Switchback up to the base. Boots recommended after the grass seeds or you'll be sad.
