Description
Very nice boulders from up on the plain to down in the river bed. Many are under water when the river rises in the spring. Usually from early May to mid June.
Area still under development.
Getting There
4km after Yale, before Saddle Rock Tunnel. There's a pull out on the north bound side that brings you down to the old highway. The flood of 2021 has made some sections on the way down a bit rough but still driveable with any vehicle.
After about 5 minutes of driving you'll hit a pull out, right before the road goes back over the train tracks. From there, back track and find a faint trail down a creek bed towards the river. Follow it to the beach. Approximately a 3 minute walk.
