Description
Cosens Crag is a shorter crag covered by trees protecting it from the hot Okanagan sun offering a great location for after-school specials or when the sun is cooking the rest of the canyon. Most routes are 3 bolts or less and range from 5.6-5.11d, even though they are not long they offer a very engaging and challenging style often from the first move. This gives the location almost a bouldering feel to the routes (some within highball territory).
Getting There
From the Climber’s Parking lot double back on the road you just drove in until you come across an old double track veering off to the right. (Keep in mind, no parking is permitted on this road.) Follow it until you see a single track breaking off at a T intersection. (Typically marked by a hanging pot from a tree) follow this single track until the cliff meets with the right hand side of the trail.
