Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warnings due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
Too cold to climb here in the winter but fun and great place to climb on a warm day, pretty much all routes in the shade almost all day.
Getting There
5 min approach. Park at the pullout (either side of road, Google Maps link) just 0.1 miles past Bridalveil Falls Trailhead. You also could park at Bridalveil Falls Trailhead, but it's a little further there, and parking's really competitive.
From the pullout, hike 30 seconds toward the wall, then take a left on the Valley Loop Trail, which starts to gradually climb above the valley. Hike on the Valley Loop Trail for 0.17 miles till you reach a boulder field on the right, and take the faint trail up the boulder field for 30 seconds to the base of the wall. You've arrived at the left of the wall!
