Description
Lamay, is an hour's drive from the city of Cusco, which has multiple sectors, with grades ranging from 5+ to projects that have not been sent.
El Canal is the most accessible of the sectors, close to town, easy to approach, and with entry-level grades.
La Torre has amazing routes, with one of the Valley's most beautiful routes, called La Peruana Suiza - 7a. From El Canal hike uphill to the right, ten minutes, to a big tower. Routes on the tower and to the right of the tower that has an anchored cable.
Huecitos is a newly bolted sector, full of short bouldery routes with lots of pockets. Follow the canal passed the pig pens and hike uphill. Shade all year.
La Puerta del Viento is best climbed from October until March to avoid direct sun. Multiple unsent projects are waiting for their first climbs. Beautiful 7b+ on the right of the wall.
