Description

This area, with huge white sand dunes and turquoise ocean water, is on most tourists' itinerary. A bit further east along the coast are some wonderful tidepools.

At least one route has been done in a huge cave that is visible above where most people camp near the freshwater spring. The approach up the huge sand dunes will take roughly 30 minutes. You will then need to navigate your way through some cliff bands to reach the actual cave. Count on 1-2 hours for the approach on your first visit. The route done in the cave is documented in a YouTube video here.

Getting There

Drive east along the coast from Hadiboh for 1-2 hours to reach Arher Beach. This area, with huge white sand dunes and turquoise ocean water is on most tourists' itinerary. As you drive east along the coast, huge limestone cliffs will loom above the road.
