Description
This is a beginner boulder field newly developed in partnership between the Southeastern Climbers Coalition (SCC) and the land owners, Southeastern Trust for Parks and Land (STPL).
The intent is to provide more climbing access to the Atlanta city area, where climbing has historically been limited. You won't find much here, but a great place to start to learn on some boulders.
In February and April 2023, local SCC, STPL staff, and Patagonia Atlanta store staff worked together with kids groups from Chris180 and the B.E.S.T. Academy (Atlanta Public Schools), to create the beginner bouldering field. The trail days built the boulder landings, and trail loop, and cleaned off the boulders for the bouldering area.

It is a 10-minute walk from the second gravel parking lot to the boulders.
