Description
Some fun roped routes in a new but very secluded area. Expect some short easy scrambling to get to top of main wall to set up a top rope or rappel. Take caution as cell phone service is very spotty on this side of the river, at times nonexistent. Due to the nature of this area, be mindful of your surroundings and do your best to preserve and leave areas better than you found them. After a hot day of climbing, there is also a good swimming spot along the shore between Cougar Cove and Salty Spitoon.
Getting There
Paddle across from granite point as explained in the area description. Aim to the right of the marshy creek with the pullout slightly to the paddlers right of the rock formation furthest out into the river if facing the climbing area. Head up the hill to the base of the lower wall of boulders until terrain flattens. From here walk around the back, in the downriver direction keeping the walls on your left. Continue walking downriver until you spot the first wall.
