Description
A remote, hidden canyon of stark, desolate beauty and wildly striped cliffs and towers (the Summerville Formation). Several fornations have been climbed. More potential, for sure. Engaging aid climbing, crumbly summits.
Getting There
About 11 miles north of Hanksville is the paved pullout with metal viewfinders. Just north is a dirt road (currently marked "0165") that heads west. Follow this to the Meat Log. Park around there. Precise trailhead depends on the state of the road and the ability of one's vehicle. Hike 3 miles south and west as shown on the "Climbing Area Map."
