This area is a recreation area owned by the city of Dell Rapids located in Eastern South Dakota. Often used by hikers, bikers and kayakers, this area was approved as a climbing area in 2023 by the city of Dell Rapids. Much like its neighboring crags, Dells Of The Sioux is made up of Sioux Quartzite which offers a wide variety of face, crack and all the crimps you could ever want. This is a primarily a sport climbing crag but also lends itself to top rope and bouldering.
