Description
Getting There
The descent changes periodically due to rockfall and anchor maintenance. The approach as of 2022 is as follows.
Take the cable car to top. Cross the bridge and at the far end on the right look for bolts and tat. 2x double rope rappels take you into the couloir (we did it with 60m ropes, but they're likely set for 45m rappels, if you can confirm 50m works from firsthand experience, please edit this). The first rappel ends on skiers right of a choss pile at bolts/tat still some way above the base of the couloir. Once in the base of the couloir there are several more rappel stations on the wall on skiers right and after one or two double rope rappels these switch over to the wall on skiers left. It takes 5 or 6 rappels to reach the base of Vent du Dragon/Perroux-Profit, which is as far as I've gone.
