Description

Prize Block Area is a small, roadside hill with a classic boulder and a few other boulders nearby.

Getting There

From Canon City: just past Dakota Dam area, look for the prominent square block atop the roadside hill on your right. There is a small pulloff before the hill, but this is a private and gated drive. Instead, park in the large dirt pullout on the opposite side of the road. Cross the road, and go up the hill 5 minutes.
