Description

Island in the Sky is a large ridge surrounded by boulders as well as in the adjacent washes.

Getting There

Make the first right at the junction past the small parking area. Look for a pullout on the left a few hundred feet before the left turn toward Fupa Area, and park. Hike due west, and the ridge will be visible in the distance. It is a 5-10 minute walk.
