Description
Rocky outcrops above Tennessee Valley with an amazing view of the Marin coast. Rock quality varies but generally is quite sharp. There are some old lead + toprope routes on the larger rock faces but the overhung boulder to the side contains the only documented climbs that I am aware of.
Getting There
Park at the end of Marin Dr. above Tamalpais Valley ( google.com/maps/@37.8730974,-122.5427428,18.82z). Follow Miwok Trail until reaching Coyote Ridge trail - follow Coyote Ridge trail until reaching large obvious rock outcrops and the boulder ( google.com/maps/@37.8660467,-122.5475847,215m/data=!3m1!1e3). Approach should take about 10-15 minutes walking, please make sure to stay on trails and reduce impact. During the spring poison oak can and will overgrown onto the Coyote Ridge trail so be aware.
