Description

This area surrounds the tunnel just above the second pigtail bridge. It would be the first tunnel encountered when traveling from Keystone/Rushmore side of Iron Mtn. Park on the east side of the tunnel in the nice pullout by the Doane Robinson sign. Any problems in this area are very close to the road.

Getting There

Heading up Iron Mtn road from Keystone; drive past two pigtail bridges, go through the tunnel and park immediately on the left.
