Description

This is the very shady and cooler area of steep climbs found on the north end of the campground area right next to a bend in the Arkansas River. Facing north, these cliffs have been climbed for decades, as mentioned in the "40 Minutes From Leadville" climbing guidebook by Justin Talbot.

Getting There

Park at the circle turnaround at the north end of the campground area. Follow the river access trails or social trails slightly east to the cliffs.
