Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm, the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB IN RED ROCKS during or after rain. A good rule of thumb is that if the ground near your climb is at all damp (and not powdery dry sand), then do not climb. There are many alternatives (limestone, granite, basalt, and plastic) nearby.
HUMAN WASTE Human waste is one of the major issues plaguing Red Rocks. The Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council and the AAC provides free "wag bags" in several locations (Black Velvet, First Pullout, Kraft Mtn/Bouldering, The Gallery, and The Black Corridor). These bags are designed so that you can pack your waste out - consider bringing one to be part of your kit (just like your rope and shoes and lunch) no matter where you go. Once used, please dispose of them properly (do not throw them in the toilets at the parking area).

Description
This area is easily spotted from the loop road, although its is quite high off the deck. The wall faces east, gets sun early and goes into the shade in the afternoon. The angle of the wall provides for some splendid slab climbing on high quality sandstone.
Getting There
Park at the Lost Creek lot. Take the main trail out of the parking lot and turn left onto the SMYC Trail. Follow this until you cross the wash and then turn right onto a faint trail that leads toward the first rock band. You should be in line with a very obvious window or hole in the rock. Follow the trail that leads to the window (lot of cairns). This is also the approach for Lost and Found Crag. Keep following cairns past Lost and Found Crag moving south toward a seasonal drainage. This is a well travelled hiking trail also marked heavily with cairns. Follow this trail as it zig zags back until you reach the base of the wall on the left hand (south side). This is about 1400 feet of elevation gain from the parking lot but should only take about one hour to get there.
