Description
The stunning valley which sits to the south of Swissco offers a plentiful days’ worth of climbing and adventure. Though there isn’t as much rock here, the main attraction, Boulder #4, is well worth the hike.
Getting There
The road to Chinns Valley varies in quality, but expect 4WD terrain as bad or worse than Rainbow Road.
Follow the same beta as for Swissco until the Chinns Lake Road branch. Where Rainbow Road stays right, head left at the junction steeply uphill. This road leads to Lower Chinns Lake and then Upper Chinns Lake, which is just beyond. Park here, and follow a fain trail above the lake’s right side up into the valley.
