Avery Drive is privately owned. Please be respectful and responsible. Park in the dirt pullouts OR on the north side of the road. Do not park in the substation over by Vice Grips on the western end of the road unless you want to get ticketed or towed.

Description

This bloc contains some very nice lines for the area. It is separate from other blocs unlike the main areas at Lost City where the formations are much more imposing walls. A very nice bloc with 3 bolted routes that could be bouldered out for some sick highball action.

Getting There

The fastest approach to this boulder is by parking just east of the formation in front of the guard rail on the north side, or by walking along the road from the main Lost City parking area. It is very hard to miss as it is directly accessible from the road. However if you decide to approach this way, be wary of cars and also consider that you will have to do about 10ft of scrambling up to the area. For erosion sake it may be better to approach from Lost City however I am not aware of a trail at this time.
