Please be advised: State Rangers know of the area and, due to the unwanted potential impact and concerns w.r.t hiking, crash pads, etc, have strongly encouraged very VERY small groups of people at any point going toward and beyond that direction. Small groups of no more than 2-3 people are advised. This will NOT change for the foreseeable future.
Permits can be acquired at the ranger station on the way to the boulders from the upper Tramway station.
Description
One of the best and toughest lowballs in the area. Has at least one problem for everyone; one for the kids, a decent V1 warmup, a few muscley moderates and some undone potential linkups that have proven elusive thus far. Burns in the sun most of the day, shaded from late afternoon on. Better to hit this boulder toward the end of the summer season/beginning of fall (before it gets snowed in!)
